The Piano rattan dining chair was designed in 2007. The chair is inspired be drawings found in Sika-Design's archives which has been simplified by Louise Andreasen, 3rd generation of Sika-Design, to give the chair a more modern and Scandinavian
look.
The Piano Armchair by Sika Design brings new life to the classic midcentury style. Handmade from skilled artisans, the natural rattan design gets its cues from the high functioning style of the 1950s and 1960s. A classic cane frame features a high square back, slightly sloped arms, and a wide contoured seat for comfortable dining. Woven in a traditional herringbone pattern the seat adds textural contrast to the open, airy slatted back. Give this armchair a place at the head of the dining table or let it elevate the look of your home office.
