Favorite Fermob

It's Memorial Day weekend here on the Hamptons, the unofficial start of summer. Summer here is all about the outdoors, and today I'm sharing my favorite line of outdoor furniture, Fermob. Of course, I am not impartial when it comes to outdoor furniture. I've been carrying Fermob since I started my business 19 years ago, when distribution in the US first began. I was drawn to the 24 color options and the classic yet, practical bistro table and chairs.

You have to love the colors! The possibilities of mixing and matching colors, shapes, and sizes is endless. Also, the wonderful variety of their different collections is another one the great things about Fermob outdoor furniture.

The surprising collection is fabulous with it's teak and steel or all steel dining chair, as well as the surprising lounger (below) which was the first piece in this collection many years ago.

The Luxembourg Collection has to be mentioned here, as well. It is by far the largest collection. This collection started with the chair you can find in the Luxembourg gardens in Paris today and has grown to include tables, benches, and bar carts.

 I also have to mention one of the main reasons I have continued to carry for 19 years. Fermob has met one of the highest environmental standards for manufacturing in the world. 
They have been awarded Gold Exemplary Recognition by the Sustainable Furnishings Council for its deep environmental commitment and exemplary implementation of a range of best practices for sustainability and have met the ISO 14000 environmental standard. You can find out more here.

The Bistro collection, the Surprising collection, and the Luxembourg collection are just the tip of the iceberg, but they are my favorites for their versatility and mixability.
