Create a Stunning Coastal Thanksgiving Table Top
Blue and white dishes are not what we typically think about for a Thanksgiving table top, but I love the dishes created by fair trade artisans for Imagine Home. I discovered on one of my bi-annual buying trips. Most people don’t think of this color scheme for Thanksgiving, but I think the contrast of the color of these dishes works beautifully against the warm hues of the fall.
I had a lot of fun creating this table top display in our Southampton store. I incorporated some terra cotta pumpkins and the sea grass place mats, as well as some dried cattails I found on one of my beach walks to add some autumn elements. The polished turbo shells add an extra coastal vibe. The reclaimed wood trivets and recycled glass glassware are some of the sustainable elements I included.
Tell me what you think. Would you use blue and white dishes for Thanksgiving? My last post on Thanksgiving table tops had included some blue and white, too.
Do you add natural elements to your Thanksgiving table?
I would love to know how you set your Thanksgiving table. Leave a comment and tell me.
FYI- All pieces shown are currently available at Sea Green Designs. Call or email for inquiries.
Happy Thanksgiving!
